Interceptive Orthodontics (1303772)
Course Description :
Emphasis is placed on cephalometrics, diagnosis and treatment planning, and the evaluation of the normal and abnormal conditions in the primary, early mixed, and late mixed dentitions. The course also aims to provide the postgraduate with the knowledge to identify and appropriately manage or refer a patient for orthodontic assessment. Cases are discussed to familiarize the student with clinical aspects and techniques of interception. The student will be required to attend the orthodontic clinics.
